Here Anime/Rol/Video Games ( all my life ) is not tema, here the peple dont play, dont see anime and only play Dance Revolution ( O.o cool game ) , see TV or play football/Another Sport...
This is boring there are only a little bunch of people ( most of them Darkies ) that have the same opinions... This isnt a good country for me...

I love games and anime. They're my life. Like all my friends are boys though and they got me hooked on it. My very few friends that are girls think it's foolish and that I'm wasting my time. But I love it. I try to show them but they think it's stupid. So I hang out with the boys and do boy stuff. Kindda odd but way cool!!

lets see... well here in little ass Brooklyn Ohio - "Home Of The Seatbelt Law", all of the girls are preppy and are to "good" for geeky stuff like anime and video games because it's for "little" kids. Most of the guys are jocks and preps who claim to be punk because they listen to the mainstream radio and bands like Blink182 and Sum41. So nope, no anime loving girls here. The only anime lovers are me and one of my 10 friends

Well I'm in Washington county, Ohio. As you said most girls here are to "good" for games and anime. But that dosen't keep me from loven it! Most of the boyz here are jocks and even I like Blink-182 but we love games and anime. What do ya think we do when I go to there houses. We play till our heads burst!

Where I live, It seems that the only thing close to anime lovers are the little kids who only know about pokemon, yu-gi-oh, or dragonballz. -_- I'm not saying that those are bad shows... it's just that I'm sick of seeing it everywhere all the time...
Of course there are few exceptions(not me ^_^; I'm too lazy and poor to watch anime). Most of my friends dont watch anime, but play games. I've met a few girls who like anime... some play games too. But mainly all the girls at my school are those stereotypical females who only care about hair, clothes, guys, etc.
Usually I would be surprised to find a girl that plays games and watches anime(and doesn't look like a complete mess... lol j/k). I think guys (well some guys) are interested more when a girl doesnt spend most of a conversation talking about how she wanted to do her hair. =P

Hey now. You can have really intersting discussions on hair. Like how to create anime hair for cosplay...pondering on how some characters have blantantly impossible hair styles in settings that in-theory don't have hairspray...

I guess I'm just special, but I've never actually had an entire discussion with anyone about nothing about styling hair.

I find it hard to believe that anime affectionadoes are really as scattered as most of the responses to this thread have made out. I can walk up to twenty random people at my school, and at least 5 of them will at least have seen either Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away...

Well yeah I like anime hairstyles too... I just meant the stereotypical, ditzy, cheerleader type girl who wouldn't talk about anything besides her hair, clothes, shoes, etc. bleh =P

Hey Fenring where outside of philley are you? I live in cherry hill, and for those who dont live in south jersey thats like 15 minutes out of philley. It seems that finding girls who like anime and other cartoons is a very difficult thing to do. Sometimes it seems like they live in their own world nowhere near me...
